Looking for a bit more of an adventure? The Out & About Overnight is a bike camp with a little camping twist! Monday and Tuesday will be spent learning, preparing & getting to know each other and then on Wednesday we will make the ~20km trip by bike to Wesley Clover Parks Campground to stay for 2 nights before making the trip home Friday morning. The long ride will be broken up with plenty of water breaks and, time permitting, swimming at Britannia Beach. We will be camping in tents so you’ll need all your camping gear (sleeping bags, pillows, etc.), which will be taken over by car to keep our bikes light. Food will be provided for campers on Wednesday/Thursday/Friday, please bring lunch on Monday and Tuesday.  Bikes must be a suitable size for the participant to operate safely and in road-ready condition. Bikes must be equipped with all necessary safety equipment such as a CSA-approved helmet, a bike lock, a bell/horn and reflectors. Riders must be capable of biking independently on two wheels for long distances up to 10km at and must bring enough water for the day.

For the ride to the campground, groups will be split up based on speed/endurance to make the journey enjoyable for all.
