The goal of this 4-week class is to introduce the students to the wonderful world of aerial arts where they will learn some basics on all 3 apparatuses (silks, lyra and static trapeze).

Note that teens are welcome to take the children's class or the adult class for the intro to aerials if this time slot doesn't work for you.

Our expert coaches will guide participants to learn the basic techniques on aerial silks.  We build strength and technique week by week.

Ratio coach to student 1:7 for a personalized approach 

Each 1-hour class is composed of a warm-up, instruction on techniques, conditioning and strengthening exercises and stretching.

Required age: 12 - 16 on the day of the activity

Notes: Bring a water bottle. Dress code: -No zipper or any metal or hard plastic on clothing that could snag the fabric or tear the tape on the apparatus. Participants will not be permitted on the circus school apparatus if wearing zippers. -All jewelry or watches that could snag should be removed. -Long leggings or track pants and a t-shirt that won't ride up when upside-down is ideal to protect the skin from rubbing. For certain moves, longer sleeves or socks might be useful. We will work mainly barefoot.

Prerequisites: None. We build strength and technique week by week.
