Under the guidance of experienced instructors, each class offers a balance of technical instruction and artistic exploration, catering to individuals of all skill levels. Beginners are introduced to foundational grips, mounts, and poses, gradually building strength and confidence as they navigate the hoop. Notes: Bring a water bottle. Dress code: -No zipper or any metal or hard plastic on clothing that could tear the tape on the apparatus. Participants will not be permitted on the circus school apparatus if wearing zippers. -All jewelry or watches that could snag should be removed. -Long leggings or track pants and a t-shirt that won't ride up when upside-down is ideal to protect the skin from rubbing. For certain moves, longer sleeves or socks might be useful. We will work mainly barefoot.

Prerequisites: It is recommended to first take a 4-class Intro to Aerials session before joining this class unless you have some previous experience with Lyra.
