Beginner Strings is a first ensemble experience for students. This one hour class is open to beginning violin, viola, and cello students and focuses on developing rhythm and listening skills as well as learning the basics of their chosen instrument. Students are not required to have private lessons to participate in Beginner Strings. However, students who are beginning the study of an instrument privately and want to learn ensemble skills will find Beginner Strings an ideal complement to private lessons.

Students need to be age 6 by December 30th in order to enroll in this course.
