En garde! Diana Unger, a certified coach with the United States Fencing Association with more than 25 years of fencing experience, will teach you the basics of fencing. Fencing requires patience, concentration, discipline, and self-awareness. Self-confidence, self-control, and emotional strength gained from this sport will lead to a healthier lifestyle. . Participants must purchase and bring their own fencing mask and jacket. Participants must obtain a $29 U.S. Fencing Membership prior to the first day of class. Participants need to bring a glove for the hand they write with, it does not have to be a fencing glove. A light winter glove, work or gardening glove will do.
