Description:
Meg Lowman is "the real life Lorax", and she speaks for the trees! Join us as we explore the life of this rainforest protector and the work that she does to teach others about how wonderful the treetops can be. We'll read a story, make a rainforest craft, and take a virtual tour of a canopy walkway. In the US, women are 48% of the workforce but only 27% of the STEM careers. This family-friendly program explores a different science-loving lady each session through story, art, and more! Registration is for one child with an adult. Adult must stay for the duration -- this is not a drop-off program. Photo from Meg Lowman's website, Canopymeg.com
