Spring Term Classes

All classes other than Parent & Tot classes are 1 hour in length.

Our classes are set based on age, and further segmented by our coaches assessment using a level system. Kids will have the opportunity to level up over time as skills are learned and practiced! However, as there are only levels 0-7 total, leveling up is not expected to happen quickly. Athletes are encouraged to have fun and progress at their own rate!

Our current class options are as follows: 

Parent & Tot for Ages 18 months-3, 4-5, 6-8, 9-12, 13-17, and "No Boys Allowed” classes for ages 6-8, 9-12 & 13-17. (Parkour has historically been largely a male dominated sport, and sometimes this can make it intimidating to get into. If your child would prefer to learn parkour in a class without boys, these are the classes for them)!

All classes run once-per-week, and fall under seasonal terms: Spring Term, Fall Term, or Winter Term. The length of term varies, depending on holidays-prices vary accordingly. 

Classes consist of a warm up, followed by stations with their smaller group, and finish off with conditioning (and often a couple minutes of free time!)

Intro Drop In Classes are offered on Mondays for ages 4-17; you can register for these under "Drop In Programs". They are run very much like our other classes, but the groups are slightly less stringent age wise, and are for athletes who want to try out Parkour for the first time. Each class has multiple coaches to allow for segmentation during the class. 

If you have attended Drop In Classes before but are not able to commit to a whole term, we now have drop in options for each age group as well. Please see our Spring Term Schedule to easily see which classes offer drop ins for each age group.

FAQ

Where do we pick up/drop off? - At our entrance at the front of the building! The exceptions are Kids Intro Drop In Classes, Nerf Drop Ins & Parties & Events. If you are attending one of these, please come to our entrance around the left hand side of the building across from the Fitness Depot entrance.

Do I need to register ahead of time? - We highly suggest you do! Pre-registering is the only way to guarantee a spot in the program you wish to attend, and we love to know you will be joining us.

What should we wear/bring? - Clothes you can move in (no jeans or hanging jewelry), indoor shoes, and a labeled water bottle.

When should we come to class? - Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your scheduled program, to allow for cleaning time and smooth transitions from the previous program.

Are masks required? - Masks are not required, but can be worn if preferred.

Can parents stay during programs? - Yes! We do have benches/chairs for parents who wish to stay, but seating is limited and on a first come first serve basis. 

Refund & cancellation policies:  

Playgrounds reserves the right to cancel or change class times due to insufficient numbers, as well as make changes necessary in order to comply with any imposed Covid-19 restrictions. Notice will be provided to those affected in advance. If a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, we will offer a full refund or credit for remaining classes if there are no suitable substitute class times. 

For registration refund requests (a full term of classes): refunds will be granted less a 5% admin fee, as well the cost of any scheduled classes that have already taken place, and classes that will be taking place within 48 hours of the requested refund. 

For Drop In Classes, Open Gym or other program refund requests: refunds requested more than 48 hours before the class or program will be issued less a 5% admin fee. If the refund request is within 48 hours of the scheduled class or program, we will issue a 50% refund of the cost only. No refunds will be granted if requested immediately before, during or after the scheduled class or program. If you wish to reschedule a booked Drop In Class or Open Gym, please contact us with as much advance notice as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. 

Classes & programs cancelled due to extreme weather, as well as classes & programs missed for personal non-emergency reasons will not be rescheduled or refunded.
