Description:
Get ready to dive into a world of marine animals and discover the secrets of the ocean! Hands-on experiences, including dissecting their own squids, encountering a 6-foot Octopus, and even immersing their hands in a jellyfish liquid to understand marine life up close. The course kicks off with an exploration of sharks, exploring their remarkable hunting abilities that secure them a top position in the marine food chain. Through experiments, students will compare their senses to those of sharks, hold a real shark, examine its anatomy, and participate in a surfboard design competition while unraveling the intriguing phenomenon of surfers being mistaken for seals. Material Fee of $40 due to the instructor on the first day of camp!
