Prehistoric Predators - No animals evoke a sense of wonder and fear as do the world’s greatest carnivores. In Prehistoric Predators, get ready to learn the ins and outs of being a meat-eater. This class will allow students to gain a better understanding of some of the greatest predatory animals of the past, including such icons as T. rex, sabertooth cats, terror birds, and Megalodon. We will cover all aspects of what it takes to be a predator on an anatomical, behavioral, ecological, and evolutionary level. Students will have the opportunity to observe and examine real fossils and animal artifacts.
