Description:

Learn to get horse, halter, lead, tie, brush, clean feet, tack up English/Western, mount, ride, dismount, untack, feed carrots, return to corral. Mandatory boot with smooth sole and heel, your helmet or ours, jeans or breeches. One half hour break for lunch, then ride again second time, bareback. Also covers different feeds, breeds, colors, horse care. Horse Demonstration on Fridays for the students to show off their new skills. Bring water, jacket, lunch.

Notes: Athletes should wear athletic clothing & footwear and bring plenty of water to camp each day. All camps are coed, unless otherwise noted.
