Are you curious about the laws of physics that go into creating our favorite rides? Inertia, centripetal force, and Newton’s laws of motion all come together to create the physics of fun. Join us as we spend a week questioning, building, experimenting with our favorite amusement park rides!

Camp Highlights:

• Build a kite a learn about the forces need to keep it in the air

• Design a parachute prototype and put it to the test see which design is most effective

• Set up a zip line to learn about gravity, friction, slope, energy, and motion

• Work in teams to create a functioning rollercoaster

• Take a trip to Playland to experience the physics of amusement park rides.
