Description:

Expanding artistic minds is the purpose of this creative camp, where children can engage their rich imaginations by putting their own spin on famous works. Campers will be introduced to artworks from different time periods, mediums and parts of the world. They will explore five amazing artists, study their practices and focus on one of their famous pieces. They will then work with different media and employ various techniques to produce their own unique works, inspired by the artist of the day.

Highlights:

• Create a textured food pop art painting inspired by Wayne Thibault

• Sculpt a surreal hand like Genesis Belanger using air dry clay. 

• Make a colourful sculpture based on Chiaozza's plant art with model magic and paper

• Paint organic landscapes and flowers with watercolours inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe
