Description:
Our hitting camp is designed to provide athletes with a deeper understanding of the technical and tactical aspects of hitting in volleyball. Athletes are challenged to think creatively and problem solve in game-like situations. This camp includes technical training on hitting form, approach footwork, and arm swing mechanics. Athletes also learn about tactical strategies for hitting, including shot selection and reading blockers. Players are given a high number of game-like reps, allowing them to explore technique and decision making concepts that lead to successful attacks. Areas of emphasis: Hitting footwork Armswing How to jumping higher Range and power Decision making Grades 8-12 only, unless approved by the Director.
