Skateboarding Lessons 5:00-6:00

Springfield Community Services Department is excited to welcome skateboarding instructor Morgan to our programming! Morgan will be leading semi-private lessons to help participants establish foundational skills, and empower participants to feel confident!

Whether you're just learning how to push around, or you're looking to refine your style and technique, Morgan is here to offer gentle support and guidance at your pace of learning, in an inclusive and safe environment.

Lesson plans are tailored to the individual student and cover a variety of topics such as skate park etiquette and safety, the basics of stance, foot placement, weight distribution, pushing and steering, mindset and visualization techniques, and the demonstration/fine-tuning of various basic tricks in both transition and street categories. 

Please note that these lessons will be semi-private.
