Description:

In our Intro to Pole class you will learn the foundational skills of this discipline. This class will focus on building and applying your knowledge of Pole skills and increasing your strength and endurance.

Required age: 18+ on the day of the activity

Notes: Appropriate class content includes but is not limited to: Beginner/intermediate conditioning and flexibility focusing on safe engagement Pole holds (tuck holds, lifts in grip variations, sits, etc) Base conditioning (forearm stands, crunches, straddle-ups, etc) Front and back hook spins Fireman and pinwheel/firefly spins Chair spin (one-handed to back grab appropriate) Cradle spin Any other basic spin (martini, pike, sword, etc) Split Grip Conditioning Pirouettes Basic floorwork Choreography combining any of these elements Spinning Pole No inverted tricks or power spins at this level

Prerequisites: Age 18+ | Enthusiasm for circus arts!
