The sun is the largest source of energy on Earth, so let's appreciate what it can do. In this awesome week of camp, 5-12 year old campers will create beautiful mosaic sun catchers and even try to use the sun to make an oven, start a fire, and tell the time. We'll reflect on the power of the sun and use it to create art and build new skills. This week will be all sunshine (and rainbows)!

*In addition to the theme-related activities listed above, every week of camp will include some classic Schoolhouse activities such as: morning and closing circle, deep woods and field games, water time (weather permitting), whittling, storytelling, and of course, looking for any critters we can find! In the event of cloudy or rainy days during our sun-focused week, we will pivot our learning and games to a "Wonders of Weather" week involving making rain gauges, cloud in a jar, or water cycle experiments.
