*** The SJCC change rooms will be closed for the duration of the Spring swim session. Washroom facilities will only be available on the upper level. Participants will enter the pool area directly from the lobby. Temporary changing stalls will be available on the pool deck. The only showers in operation will be those on the pool deck so you will need to shower wearing a swimsuit. Ideally swimming lesson participants will arrive to the SJCC already changed for their swim class. ***

Parent & Tot Classes
Maximum 12 participants. Our Parent & Tot programs make learning to swim a family affair! The lessons are designed for new swimmers anywhere from 3 months to 3 years, and introduce young children to the water. Classes are full of songs, games and plenty of friends!
Preschool Levels
Maximum 4 participants. Tailored to the needs of 3-6 year olds who are just learning to swim. By keeping class sizes low, we are able to ensure that every child feels comfortable learning to move around in the water in a fun and safe manner.
Swimmer Levels
Maximum 6 participants. Our Swimmer program makes sure children learn how to swim before they get in too deep. Swimmer progressions accommodate 5 to 12-year-olds including absolute beginners as well as swimmers who want to build on the basics. We stress plenty of in-water practice to develop solid swimming strokes and skills and incorporate Water Smart® education in all levels.
Canadian Swim Patrol
Maximum 8 participants. The Swim Patrol provides enriched training for those who are ready to go beyond learn-to-swim. Swim Patrol's three levels - Rookie, Ranger, and Star - continue to develop participants' swim strokes and provide the skill foundation that prepares them for success in the Society's Bronze medal awards.
Advanced Lifesaving Classes
The Lifesaving Society provides a fun and challenging progression of lifesaving training programs. The Canadian Swim Patrol, and 3 Bronze medal awards are designed for swimmers between 8 and 15 years of age. Our first aid certifications focus on the practical ABCs of lifesaving. National Lifeguard certification is the Canadian industry standard to work as a lifeguard.
