Description:
Mix things up with this chemistry filled workshop. Learn how to determine if a chemical is an acid or a base, or what happens when you mix the two together! Observe a variety of chemical reactions to find out! Parents note:

Required age: 5 - 13 on the day of the activity
Notes: Please use the gated bus entrance for pick up and drop off. Drop off begins at 9:45 am. Pick up Begins at 2:45pm. ** Please do not arrive before scheduled drop off and pick up time. If you are arriving early or late please use the other entrance to park in the Visitor Parking Lot at the bottom of the hill and walk your child up to the main building. Do not leave your car. Someone will meet you at the car to escort your child(ren) to and from the car. Cancellation Policy: Changes to workshop dates within 2 weeks of a schedule workshop are subject to a $25 admin fee. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks of a scheduled workshop can only receive a program credit, minus a $25 admin fee. Any cancellations made on the day of a scheduled workshop are not eligible for refunds or credits.
Prerequisites: Child must be in at least kindergarten.
