Online Programs
Let our fun and informative educators bring the wonder of Stanley Park’s creatures and ecosystems to you! Our online programs take place on Zoom, and include live program delivery with an educator, interactive quizzes, and question and answer time. Students from Kindergarten to grade 7 have enjoyed these interactive experiences from the comfort of their classrooms or homes!
All About Eagles
Join us for a webinar to learn more about this charismatic apex predator and find out the answers to all your eagle questions. How big are their nests? Why are they “bald”? And what do they like to eat other than fish? Learn all these things and more with videos and photos of these magnificent birds of prey.
Rambunctious River Otters
Splash into this webinar to learn about everyone’s favourite whimsical water weasel, the North American river otter! Find out some of the answers to common questions about these engaging mammals, like how are they different from beavers, how long can they hold their breath, and do they design their own dens? You will also hear about the river otters that frequent the waters in and around Stanley Park.
Super Salmon
Salmon are super! Discover how in this exciting program.
How do salmon find their way back to their home stream? What do salmon eat? Why are they such an important part of an ecosystem? Dive into the world of these amazing creatures and the streams and oceans they call home.

Classroom Programs
Classroom-based programs are offered from November to March to schools within a 45-minute drive of Stanley Park. Over the rainier months of the year, when our in-park fieldtrips are a little quieter, our skilled SPES educators can deliver a few select programs right in your classroom. We use creative storytelling, puppets, games and engaging props to connect students with nature. Environmental learning has never been so much fun!
Salmon Forest (Grades 2-3)
Discover the amazing connections between salmon and our forests. How do salmon help the soil and trees? Play salmon lottery, dress like a tree and find out how salmon have shaped our land.

Payment is due within 2 weeks of booking.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made before two weeks from the booking date will receive a full refund, minus a $15 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 2 weeks of program dates. Participants whose programs are cancelled due to weather will recieve a credit refund.
