Advanced Placement Computer Science—A and Beyond

Dive into  College Board’s Advanced Placement Computer Science and Beyond!

Five weeks of total 25 hours of enriching workshop that bridges the gap for students with little prior experience, guiding them through the essential ideas of Computer Science AP CS—A.

At Storming Robots, we pride ourselves on our analytical learning model, which has a proven track record of success, with students achieving high scores in their AP CS A exams. This program provides a flexible and convenient option for students to deepen their understanding of computer science concepts and effectively prepare for the Advanced Placement exam—all from the comfort of their own homes.

⚙ Target outcome:

• AP Exam Excellence:   Most students achieve a perfect score of 5 in their AP Computer Science Exam with minimal additional effort.
• ️ Advanced Problem Solving: ain hands-on practice in programming implementation, writing algorithms instead of relying solely on intrinsic libraries.

🌐 Summarized Curriculum:

· Complete list of concepts required by  College Board Advanced Placement Computer Science—A such as Wrapper Classes,  ArrayList, etc.

· Dive into  Fundamental Search Algorithms: Binary Search, Quick Sort  with Recursion.

· Learn and take advantage of Bitwise operation

🛠 Software:

• Utilize text editor so that students will gain the experience of the process from compiling to execution instead of some black-box IDE.

📚 Prerequisites:

Programming Experience:

• High Proficienc in Algebra I.
• MUST be Comfortable with nested control structure.
• Know data variables
• Know
