The Audition for the 2024 Team Canada National Acrobatic Dance Team will be led by Lexy Cox. CHILDREN are 7 - 12 yrs (Dec. 31, 2024), JUNIOR are 13-16 yrs (Dec. 31, 2024), and ADULT are 17 -24 yrs (Dec.31, 2024) The Acrobatic Dance Team will have the opportunity to attend the World Acrobatic Dance Championship in Gibraltar run by the International Dance Organization www.ido-dance.com. The World Acrobatic Dance Championships are held this year in conjunction with the Dance Olympus Competition & Workshop. Dancers willhave the opportunity to enter 2 competitions in one week/location (World Acrobatic Championship + all-genre Dance Olympus). June 30 - July 7, 2024 Please complete your information and submit your videos for consideration. Audition Video Requirements Time limit: Between 1:00-2:30 mins DUE OCT 1, 2023 midnight Please send us a video of your competition solo. If you don't have a solo, please send us a video or a choreographed routine of your choice. Choose music that suits you best, we aren't looking for a specific style. The objective is for us to see how you perform something choreographed. No formal costume required. You will still need to E-transfer your audition fee. Alternately, you may email us a link to your YouTube or Vimeo.
