Description:

Dancers will learn age appropriate tap dance skills and learn a piece of choreography that will be performed at 2 competitions in the Spring as well as at the year end recital. Learning will be fast paced and focussed on reaching new goals and developing their expertise within the genre.

Your child will develop the following skills in this class:

• Understanding of Junior level rhythm tap skills and music theory
• Introduction of new rhythms and more complex combinations of existing vocabulary with an emphasis on clarity
• Continued development of the coordination between the upper and lower body to enhance performance quality

Prerequisites: All levels of competitive tap are required to enrol in an age/skill appropriate second class in a different style of their choice.
