Description:

Senior ballet students will continue to push themselves to develop ballet skills that have been developing from a young age. They will work on the RAD ballet syllabus level of the instructor's choosing and work on examination content at the teacher's discretion. Previous ballet training is required to join this class.

This class is meant to be paired with Senior 1/2 Ballet Monday (AP)

Your child will develop the following skills in this class:

• developing a higher level of ballet vocabulary and technique at the Advanced level
• attention to detail in posture, performance, and musicality
• becoming well versed and comfortable dancing more regularly on pointe

Notes: GIRLS DRESS CODE: Black bodysuit leotard (Capezio “MC110” or Wear Moi “Faustine”), pink ballet tights, pink Hanami canvas ballet slippers. BOYS: Fitted white t-shirt or bodysuit, black bike shorts, white socks, white Hanami canvas ballet slippers. OPTIONAL: Instead of pink ballet tights and ballet slippers, dancers may choose to wear skin toned tights and ballet slippers if they wish to.

Prerequisites: Students in Senior 2 Ballet are required to also enrol in Senior 1/2 Ballet and Ballet Techique (AP). They are encouraged (but not required) to join another class in a different style of their choice!
