If your child has a passion for theatre and wants to learn acting foundations and techniques, do not miss out on this amazing class. We will help your child gain the confidence they need to get on stage by developing their understanding of theatre lingo, vocal and body warm ups, drama games, scene study, monologues, and short plays. This class focuses on acting, dramatic performance, comedy, and improvisation. Students will gain knowledge of stage directions, projection and diction, blocking, characterization, feelings and emotions, acting and reacting, dramatic play, self-expression, storytelling, directing, and auditioning. This immersive training will lay the foundations for a future in acting on stage that will expand their creativity and change their lives forever. Throughout the semester, students will also rehearse specific pieces that they will perform in the Spring Showcase including a 10-minute play and monologues.

Notes: This class will perform in the Spring Showcase. Dress Rehearsal - 4/26 Performance - 4/27 This class will not meet over BVSD spring break! Cancellation Policy: More than 30 days out from the beginning of class participants will receive a full credit for the class. There are no refunds. 30 days or less from the start of class, participants will receive a 50% credit and no refunds. Credits are only valid for 6 months.
