Description:

This is a one-of-a-kind intro to musical theatre class for preschoolers. Students 3-6 years old will have the chance to learn acting techniques, Broadway , Jazz, and Hip Hop dance, and vocal instruction, while rehearsing for their very own performance on stage. Students will learn how to warm up their bodies and voices, play drama games, practice scenes and blocking, learn songs with choreography, and have fun using dramatic play. They will practice with props, try out costumes and stage make-up, and learn how the sound and lights work for a stage production so that they can start to experience the magical world of the theatrical arts.

Required age: 3 - 6 on the day of the activity

Notes: This class will perform in the Spring Showcase. Dress rehearsal - 4/26 Performance - 4/27 This class will not meet over BVSD spring break!
