Classical model of art education teaching basic skills of accurate drawing and a beginning understanding of creating depth. Children learn how to hold a pencil properly to draw, how to build drawings with simple shapes and how to use tone, shadow, texture and detail to create 3-D effects. Working with charcoal pencil and soft pastels. All materials are provided. Attire: Smock or apron recommended.
