Description:
Registration for this workshop is open! With spring's rushing waters and bursting buds come increased animal and insect activity, bird migration and abundant plant life. As new life emerges all around us, what better time to hone our naturalist knowledge? This unique mini-series is led by a team of Guelph Outdoor School instructors, each with their own specialized knowledge and skills. Together, they invite you to explore our rich urban nature through the eyes of trained foragers, wildlife trackers, birders, artists and plant propagators with a passion for sharing their deep love of this land.
In three sessions from April to June, we'll take a deep dive into the ecology of the Eramosa River valley, building our knowledge of local flora and fauna as the season unfolds.
