The Summer Dolphin Try Outs are for Brookline Residents only or for children who attend Brookline Schools

All new swimmers looking to join Summer Dolphins or Dolphins in Training must try out prior to the start of the season. Tryouts will be 30 minutes of practice which will include swimming all four competitive strokes, starts, and turns under the supervision of a Head Swim Coach. 

To register for try-outs, 8 & under swimmers must be an American Red Cross Level 4, 9 & older swimmers at least a Level 5 or should possess commensurate skills. 

For those swimmers who do not make the Summer Dolphins team or Dolphins in Training, please look to joining our Swim Lesson Program. 

Parents/Guardians of qualified swimmers will be notified if their child is eligible to register for the Summer Dolphins or Dolphins in Training programs AFTER the completion of ALL try-outs. 

If you are notified that your child has made the team, please contact the pool to officially register as soon you have been notified of your child's status. There are a limited number of roster spots available on the team. There will be a deadline to complete your registration. If you do not complete your registration in a timely manner, your spot may be released to the next person on the waitlist.
