6 WEEK CLASS

In this class, you will learn various mixed media techniques through instruction and demonstrations. Explore new ways to create expressive artwork using experimental techniques and diverse materials. A combination of paint, collage, and drawing will be used to create fascinating & unpredictable results. Students are responsible for bringing items on the class supply list. All levels are welcome.

Notes: Supply List: *Apron *Liquitex or Golden Matt Medium (medium viscosity) *Various colors of paint *Canvas (blank 18x24 or 24x30”) (or one that needs upscaling) *Acrylic paint brush…2 inch and a couple smaller ones too *Color shaper, palette knives *Craft paper to paint or other found papers of interest *Container bucket for water * Palette paper to pour the glue/paint onto & mix colors *Squirt bottle *Paper towels or rags for clean-up *Plastic to cover the table (i.e. shower curtain liner or old sheet) If you do not understand any of these materials, I will have some extra handy for you to get started!!
