If you are an oil painting artist who has developed some skills and are looking to grow and continue your journey to create your own personal style, then this open studio format class is for you. Instructor Linda Pearce will be there to offer input to keep you on the road to your creative adventure. Create paintings in class from a still life, sketchbook, or work from photos you have taken. More info about supplies on Linda's website.

Notes: Oil Painting with Linda Merchant Pearce Materials: Oil paint Some suggested colors, substitutes are fine: Burnt umber Burnt sienna French ultramarine Titanium white Yellow ochre Cad yellow Cad red Alizarin crimson Sap green Palette or non-absorbent paper plates Variety of brushes Artist Grade Walnut or Linseed oil, small container for oil Canvas or panel “Turpenoid Natural” for cleaning brushes, with brush-cleaning container (we ask that any brush cleaner or solvent be non-toxic in this class) Pencil and kneaded eraser for lay-in. (terracotta or similar colored pencil is preferred to graphite) Bring some still life objects to the first class as we prepare our initial painting
