3 DAY CAMP

Embark on a creative journey in our three-day gelli plate printing camp, where you'll explore soft plate techniques, vibrant acrylic paints, stencils, brayer methods, and paper to create stunning designs suitable for cards, scrapbooking, or collage projects. Students are encouraged to bring their own supplies, but some necessary supplies will be available. This camp is open to both seasoned artists and beginners alike. Notes: Basic supplies are provided. Students are encouraged to bring whatever supplies they think would enhance their experience during this experimental class. Amsterdam Acrylic Paints, Golden fluid acrylic paints OR Blick Studio paints, various colors. Gelli plate(s) (8"x10” & a smaller one, any size). 2 Brayers, soft. Palette paper to hold Gelli plate on the table. Copy paper at least 40+ sheets, (optional Tracing paper, Deli papers, card stock, Yupo, brochure paper, Premium matte paper). Old newspaper to clean brayer. Hand sanitizer, small bottle. Old artwork that needs updated (optional, no canvas). Spray bottle. Soft paint brush. Palette knife with rounded edges. Color shaper (optional). Stencils, several styles. Scissors. Magic markers (Copic or Posca markers are great because they don’t have a strong odor). Black, other colors optional. OR Sharpie Magnum. Mark making tools such as bubble wrap, corrugated paper, dried plants, soft combs, or other soft 3D designs. Baby oil, small jar for conditioning plate. Pack of baby wipes for cleaning Geli plate. Water container. Magazines. Acetate or Dura-Lar to create stencils and masks. Plastic container for putting used stencils in. Rags, paper towels.
