2.5 Hour Workshop

Discover the art of crafting a colorful basket in this engaging and accessible class! Coiled baskets come to life through the manipulation of a lengthy coiling cord and fiber of your choice. Your finished creation will be approximately five inches in diameter, woven with coiling cord and yarn. While the intricate process may span beyond a single session, participants will receive comprehensive guidance to complete their baskets at home. All necessary materials are provided!

Notes: Carol Leikala taught high school art for 33 years before retiring in 2019. She has been an artist at Stella's Art Gallery for five years. She is a member at the Indigo Co-Op at Praxis Fiber Studio. In addition to coiled baskets, Carol works in a variety of mediums, including illustration, photography and paper arts.
