5 WEEK CLASS This class offers an introduction to the basic skills of creating wheel thrown pottery forms. Skills covered include centering, opening, drawing up clay to form a simple vessel, bowl, or cup. Trimming techniques are also covered. Thoughtful, simple, and meaningful glazing techniques are shared to complete the ceramic journey. Designed for beginners and those curious about a fun and relaxing wheel throwing experience. Registration fee includes 1/2 bag of clay, glaze, and firing. Additional clay, glaze and firing is available for purchase, if needed.
