Description:

Suitable for beginners or students looking for a gentle practice, 55+ Yoga will help relieve sore joints and tight muscles, aches and pains, with an emphasis on safety, effectiveness and the philosophy of expanding our human consciousness.

Class begins and ends with a short meditation and breath work. Christine offers a welcoming and safe place to explore and rejuvenate with a gentle series of movements that will open up and strengthen all areas of the body.

Class takes place in the beautiful VanDusen Guides Classroom with garden views, and outside in the garden during summer months.

Bring your own yoga mat. Some props are available, however you are welcome to bring any you like to use, and a light blanket or towel.

Notes: Purchase a MultiPass and save! Choose from 6 or 12 classes in a pass. Select the "MultiPass" tab above to purchase, and use them for any fitness or yoga class drop-ins within a year of first use. This system replaces purchasing entire sessions and allows you to attend whenever your schedule allows, without missing classes due to illness or holidays. Bring a yoga mat and a thick towel or blanket.
