Description:

May is Vancouver Bird Celebration month!  Take a close look at bird nests & discover how they're made. On our Garden walk, we'll look and listen for nesting birds, and explore the life cycle of a bird from cozy egg, to chirping hatchling, to the day they finally stretch their wings and fly!  

This is a guided preschool program for children ages 3-5 and their parents/caregivers. Registration must be purchased for EACH CHILD for admission to the program. Parent/caregiver attendance is free but limited at the discretion of VBGA staff (ideally one parent/caregiver per 1-3 children).

Required age: 3 - 5 on the day of the activity

Notes: If you would like to cancel your registration, please provide a written request at least 1 week (7 days) in advance of the start of the program(s) to learn@vandusen.org. No refunds will be given for in-person courses/sessions. For cancellations with one weeks’ notice, a credit will be applied to your account. With less than a weeks’ notice, no credit will be given. No new credit will be issued if the cancelled course was purchased using prior credit. Credits will be valid for 1 year (365 days) from the date of issue. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF ANYONE IN YOUR GROUP IS SHOWING SYMPTOMS OF COLD/FLU/ILLNESS.

Prerequisites: Children ages 3-5; children must be accompanied by an adult for this program (ideally one parent/caregiver per 1-3 children). Supervision of children is the responsibility of the parent/caregiver at all times. Please dress everyone in your group for the weather as this is an outdoor program and will run rain or shine.
