Description:

The Town of Wellington is offering five v. five flag football for participants ages 6-8. This is a non-contact league. Participants will learn the fundamentals (except for tackling and blocking) with an emphasis on fun and equal playing time.

Registration opens February 5th and ends March 1st. Games will be held on Saturdays starting April 6th until May 11th. There will be 6 games in the season.

Volunteer Coaches are needed! All coaches must be registered by March 6th to prevent overloading rosters. If you can coach, we need you, so please reach out to recreation@wellingtoncolorgado.gov. There will be a mandatory coaches meeting on March 20th at 6:30pm via Zoom.

• Players are required to wear blue/white reversible jerseys (must be purchased from the Parks and Recreation Department) for all games.
• Practice times are to be determined by coaches and will be once or twice a week.
• Rules can be found on the Resources and Manuals page on the Recreation Website.
• Mouth-guards are optional at all practices and games but are highly recommended.
