Prerequisites: This program is great for the BegIntermediate to Advanced mountain bike rider. (see skill level explanations below) BegIntermediate: You are capable at changing gears and can brake effectively as well as are able to maintain balance through easy climbs and descents. You have mastered the green pea gravel trails in lost lake and are ready to progress to green singletrack trails like Disco Boy, Son of Mr. Green Genes, Gee I like your pants, etc. Intermediate: You are comfortable on all green and some blue trails. You can change gears, brake safely and maintain balance on climbs and descents at slower speeds. You are interested in exploring more advanced features and terrain. Trails you would like to work on include harder blue rated trails in lost lake, as well as blue rated trails outside of lost lake. Intermediate+: You are comfortable on most blue trails and have begun to explore black terrain. You understand how to brake effectively and how to maintain balance on climbs and descents at a variety of speeds. You have been riding long enough that you have experience riding in varying conditions (wet, dry, loose). You have more stamina for longer rides and want to start tackling harder features on black terrain. InterAdvanced: You are comfortable on most black trails including the features on them. You can maintain balance and brake strategically at higher speeds on steeper and more challenging terrain. You can ride in varying conditions (wet, dry, and loose). You are interested in working on improving technique on these trails alongside exploring selective double black terrain. You have even more stamina for longer rides.
