Description:

In this art class, children have fun working with a variety of arts & crafts materials, and develop an understanding of the fundamentals of art. Teachers will do step-by-step demos. Students are encouraged to develop fine motor skills, confidence, and independence in their art-making.

Mixed media means projects will cover a variety of materials:

• mostly drawing & painting

• at least 1 air-dry clay project per term

• at least 1 crafty project per term (collage, foam, etc)

Required age: 4 - 8 on the day of the activity

Notes: Students will need to bring the following art supplies to class: • pencil, eraser and sharpener • washable marker set • wear mess-friendly clothing Please ensure you have read our policies. Thank you! WITHDRAWAL POLICY: • The last day to withdraw and receive a full refund for the class is 7 days before the class start date. (The 3% registration fee is non-refundable.) • If you cancel between 1-7 days before the class start date, you will receive a 75% refund. • After the class has already started, you have a maximum of 14 days to withdraw and receive a 50% refund. No refunds are granted after this 14-day period. If you paid upfront, the 50% refund will be issued to you. If you paid by installments, the second installment will simply be cancelled instead of being charged on the 14th day.
