Welcome to our Pre-Competitive Youth Arctic Sports Program, a stepping stone to the exciting world of Competitive Arctic Sports. We're dedicated to developing young athletes in the Yukon and our focus for this program is building the strength, endurance, and resilience needed for the unique challenges these sports offer. Our program will gradually introduce participants to the physical demands of Arctic sports, setting the stage towards achieving that next level and eventually participating in Major Games at a competitive level. This staged approach ensures they are well-prepared for the challenges that lie ahead in their athletic journey.

Join us as we prepare the next generation for the journey to competitive excellence, one step at a time. Youth are graded on their knowledge of traditional words and activities - earning pins as they go!

**You do not have to be Indigenous, Inuit or Metis to take part of this program.

Required age: 11 - 13 on the day of the activity

Notes: Please bring comfortable clothing and a water bottle!
