At Arcola East preschool we pride ourselves in implementing a learning through play philosophy.  This type of program allows the chilren to learn to make sense of the world around them.  Through a play-based curriculum children develop imagination, social and cognitive skills, they mature emotionally and gain the self-confidence required to problem solve, make decisions and work with others.

Each class has a max of 15 children and is led by two teaching staff.  Our day consists of calendar, craft, free play (both fine and gross motor), snack and story/song time.

We celebrate special days such as Easter, Halloween, Birthdays, etc.  As well as fun theme days, such as colour days or silly hat days.  We are always open to learning and celebrating things that may not be as common to all of us such as Chinese New Year.

Notes : Cancellation Policy is that withdrawal from class must be by August 31, if it is after this date you will be charged for `1 month. Cancellations after August 31 must be made prior to the 1st of the month otherwise you will be charged in full for that month. Note - there may be changes to the cancellation policy to accommodate Covid-19 restrictions. There will be no classes on statutory holidays (Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day).

Prérequis : Child must be 3-4 years of age (must be 3 by September 30). Children must be fully potty trained (cannot be using pull-ups).
