Description :

Preschool/Youth Drop In is for children 18 months to 7 years. This is not a structured class and will not have direction. While there will be equipment out for use, scheduled classes during this time have priority. A certified coach will be on the floor but this is geared for parent and child free play. 

Parents/guardians (or child over age 15) must be actively supervising their child(ren) at all times, as per Alberta Gymnastics Federation guidelines. Children under age 3 require 1:1 supervision by their atending adult (on the floor, within arms reach). Children ages 3-5 require 2:1 supervision by their adult (on the floor). Children 6-7 must have a supervising adult in the gym (viewing area).

Preschool Youth Drop In Programs: $8.00/visit

AGF Fee for Drop-In Programs ONLY: $15.00 for non-members (first drop in class does not require insurance purchase).

Notes : DROP IN RULES:  * Registration must be made prior to entering the gym. Online payment or punch cards only (no debit or credit is available at the gym). * Withdrawal must be made in writing (email admin@athabascaflips.ca) no later than 9:00 am on the day of the activity.  This is to allow others to claim the spot. *No food or drinks allowed, other than water. There is a drinking fountain available. *As per Alberta Gymnastics Federations, babies in carriers, car seats or strollers are not allowed on the gym floor. Children are not to be left unattended in the facility (including viewing area and lobby). *Every person on the floor (including adults/15+ children) must complete a Notification of Risk. All minors require a parent/guardian to complete forms.  *In-ground trampoline is only available when a certified coach is on the floor AND the user (age 6+) has purchased a minimum of Gymnastics For All insurance ($55).  *NO FLIPS (inversions) allowed during drop-in time, including on resi mats (porta-pits) or into foam pit. *Must wear appropriate athletic clothing. Clothing with zippers, buttons, hoods, and/or metal decorations are not allowed. Jewelry is to be removed, with the exception of stud earrings and Medic Alert. *Phones and other recording devices are not permitted.  *Inappropriate and unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated. Supervising coaches reserve the right to remove offending individuals (no refund will be offered).
