Join us at BGC North Simcoe for an 6-week Dodgeball League!! 

The program is open to those aged 8-12 and will run 5-6pm on Mondays beginning Monday, February 5th. Participants will learn all the ins and outs of dodgeball and take part in weekly dodgeball games!

** No Classes on February 19th and March 11th 2024. 

PARTICIPANT EXPECTATIONS:

To ensure a positive and safe environment for everyone, we implement a set of rules and expectations for all Club participants:

• Have a positive attitude and participate fully in all the scheduled games & activities.
• Recognize and follow rules/instructions for all games & activities.
• Keep hands and feet to ourselves.
• Be respectful and kind to one another (no bullying or teasing others).
• Use appropriate language.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Be inclusive and accepting of one another and our differences.
• Take turns and play fair.
• Have Fun!

If a participant struggles with the rules and/or listening to staff, staff will have a one-on-one discussion with the participant to explain why the rules are in place. If the behaviour continues, the parent/guardian will be notified during sign-out and will be asked to review the rules with their child at home. If the behaviour persists, a senior staff will connect with the parent/guardian to discuss the behaviours and how staff can best support the participant moving forward.

If a participant becomes aggressive or physically violent, the participant will be removed from the program immediately. A parent/guardian or emergency contact will be called to pick up the participant and a conversation will take place with senior staff to further discuss the situation/options.
