Description :

In Teen Jazz, dancers will progress their technique and movements within the Jazz dance style. Class will consist of a cardio warm-up and an extensive stretching sequence that focuses on training dancers' flexibility and strength. This is followed by across the floor and a variety of progressions that incorporate kicks, leaps, jumps, turns, and connecting steps. Teens are challenged with small routines and combinations to a variety of songs and they'll enjoy themselves in this high energy dance class!

***CDM follows the ADE (Artistic Dance Educators) curriculum for jazz dance technique and progressions.

Notes : Dress Code: Comfortable clothing, t-shirt, leggings, athleisure, black spaghetti strap leotard, black dance shorts AND/OR footless beige tights. (Recommended brands: Capezio, Mondor, Body Wrappers, Revolution Dancewear). Footwear: Barefeet or beige Jazz shoes (Recommended brands: Capezio, Bloch). Prérequis : Jazz 1, 2, or 3 is required. Recommended to take with an Acro Dance, Ballet, or Hip Hop class.
