Jumping Juniors is the best of both worlds. It is a great beginner program for those who have never tried cheerleading before but for the athletes coming from Teeny Tinies and Mighty Minis, we will continue to work on a variety of more difficult skills and explore new elements of the sport. Athletes will work on all aspects of the sport; stunting, tumbling, jumps and dance. Throughout the 90 minutes each athlete will grow and improve on their strength, coordination, flexibility and balance. At this level, coaches will begin to focus on the criteria outlined by Cheer Canada. Each athlete will be assessed with a report card at the end of each session with suggestions on next steps in preparation for future cheerleading programs. There are three levels of recreational cheerleading for them to work through White, Black and Teal. Once a level is completed the athlete will begin to work towards skills from the next level! We strive for perfection of skills before allowing athletes to advance and our coaches will provide a safe and nurturing environment for progression! We cannot wait to welcome you to a session of further development & fun.
