One Day Workshop with Cindi Chamberlain returns!

All students Ages 9+ are welcome! (Parent/Child combos welcome!)

Hapazone or Botanical Flower Pounding is a lovely way to connect with nature. Using the colors from nature throughout the seasons is a beautiful metaphor for change and evolution. Connecting with nature through our creativity can help us to feel abundant and joyful. The vibrant colors of leaves and flowers are easy to preserve by pounding them to release their natural dyes onto paper or fabric. Using not much more than a hammer and plants, you can make beautiful botanical cards and prints year-round.

All supplies will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own hammer, their favorite plant material, markers and other art supplies to class.

• Learn the process for transferring the dyes of plant materials to paper and fabric

• Enjoy our nature walk where we Identify types of plant materials that work best for pounding

• Create your original flower prints

• Explore ways to turn your art into unique gifts

Instructor Cindi Chamberlain is an artist, herbalism student, yoga teacher, and quilter who enjoys working with fresh flowers, herbs, and other plant material as a medium for creating art.
