We will begin by working on pre-warped looms so that the students can get experience in using the RH loom before beginning their own projects. Basics such as winding a shuttle, direct warping, hemstitching, how to keep even selvedges, and how to beat will be covered. We will also look at weaving terms (WPI, PPI, YPP, dent, heddle), how to pick the right yarn for your project, calculating amounts of yarn needed, and how to troubleshoot problems.
