Description :

This introductory 2-hour course will be taught by two ACA (American Canoe Association) certified kayaking instructors.

Class 1 (6/21) will be held at Water Works Family Aquatic Center from 8a-10a

Class 2 (6/28) will be an on the Cuyahoga River. We will meet at the Little Stone Shelter at Water Works park at 8a, and then take a shuttle to Kent to complete the class on the river.

Participants will learn basic paddling strokes, in water rescues, kayak safety - and have fun doing it!

Participants must be able swim independently.
Recommended age range 55+.

Kayak and all necessary equipment will be provided. Kayak info 300 lb capacity, Cockpit Length: 56" Cockpit Width: 22"
