Respect In Sport For Parents
Respect in Sport For Parents is an in-depth 1 hour program providing on parents’ natural influence over a child, the coach or leaders role in an activity, the role parents play in their child’s enjoyment of a sport or activity and protecting your child when they are outside of your immediate control. This program is not mandatory but can be taken online on the Respect in Sport website.

Missing Class
If your child needs to miss class for any reason, please let us know via email.
Attire
Please have your child in athletic clothing. A leotard may be worn but is not mandatory. No socks, dangling jewelry, watches/fitbits, gum, or midriffs showing. Hair must be pulled back (if long enough) and off of the face. Athlete may choose to bring a water bottle as well.
Fees Policy
Fees are due upon registration
Refunds
Refunds are issued for medical reasons only and a medical certificate or doctor’s note must be provided. Medical cancellations will receive a pro-rated refund.
Class Cancellations
The Estevan Gymnastics Club reserves the right to cancel any programs with insufficient registration 3 days prior to the program start date.
Club Rules
The Head Coach IS in charge
For safety reasons, the Estevan Gymnastics Club does not allow anyone in the apparatus area unless they are a registered participant, a guardian in the Parent & Tot class or have been granted permission from a staff member
Use of the equipment is strictly forbidden without the supervision of a qualified coach
Parents and spectators are welcome to watch class in the designated viewing area upstairs on the mezzanine
Please help your child to develop listening skills and autonomy by observing the
following:
*Addressing your child during class is not allowed
*Please keep conversations in a low voice in the viewing areas
For safety reasons, please do not congregate in the doorways to the gym, the
entrance lobbies or on the staircases
Please have your child in the building, dressed and ready for class on time. Warm up is the first part of a class and is an important step to prevent injuries
Please do not drop your child off early without supervision, and please be on time to
pick-up your child
Outside foot wear is no??t allowed on the gym floor, should be put in the dedicated
area. NO shoes allowed off the carpeted area or upstairs
No Chewing Gum, Candy, Food or Drinks without secure lid is allowed on the gym
floor
All Accidents and Incidents must be reported to the Head Coach
No shouting, swearing or rude language
When and if required, the Head Coach will implement the Emergency policy
and procedures
There are no discounts, refunds or make up classes for any of the following reasons but not limited to:
• Illness, quarantine, health order restrictions or removal of restrictions
• voluntary absence (ex. vacation)
• power outage, unsafe weather conditions or poor air quality
• facility maintenance
• scheduled breaks (ex. long weekends, stat holidays)
The Estevan Gymnastics Club is NOT responsible for lost or stolen property in or around our premises, including the gym floor, change rooms, viewing lounge, entrance or your vehicle. Estevan Gymnastics Club and its personnel accept no responsibility for articles left behind. The lost and found items are disposed or donated at the end of every session
