Description : Have you ever wanted to add something new to Minecraft®? In this course, students will learn the basics of Java while modifying the popular game Minecraft®. Students will conceptualize, design and code their own custom Mod using Java, one of the most widely used programming languages today! Students will learn how to create their own Blocks, Items, Mobs, and more over the course of the class. They will use Eclipse SDK and other tools to quickly modify and edit the code of the game. Students will also explore the world of graphic design as they create their own skins/textures for their mods. At the end of course, students will be able download and share their Mod with friends and family!
