All games are played at Trace Manes Park and may be scheduled on any week night and Saturdays (Sundays for rainouts). Each team plays an average of three games every two weeks including most Saturdays. Sundays generally are for practices organized by each coach.
A game Schedule will be provided prior to the start of league play.
September playoffs are scheduled on any day of the week as required.
General Information
Players assigned to a team will be called by a coach around April 20th. Normally some players are assigned late.
Fifteen players are assigned to each team. Batting order is 1-15 as determined by the coach. Each player is guaranteed to play in the field a minimum of 50% of the innings.
Players must wear their team sweater and team cap to participate.
Players must supply their own baseball glove and running shoes. Hard cleats of any kind cannot be used. Shorts cannot be worn.
Baseball bats (max L 30 in X D 2 ¼ in) and catchers' equipment are provided by the LABA. Players may use their own bats subject to LABA specifications (max L 30 in X D 2 ¼ in). Players must provide their own helmet (approved by the LABA). Our recommended supplier is Eagle Beaver Sports to ensure quality standard and fit.
Catchers must wear full catching equipment and a protective cup both in games and practices.
